Sun, Creek, Garden Hoses

Plant wild flowers. Cut fallen trees.  Pick up trash from the creek.  On this trip to the farm we spent most of our time splashing around the creek, looking for crawdads and harassing the resident goose.  We did also pick up some trash on our travels, though, which was mostly (and weirdly) buried garden and rubber hoses.

Sunday Sky

Maybe I’ll post my favorite sky photo of the week on Sundays.  I like this one – it was a pretty foggy week.

Isn’t that light-up billboard the worst?

Short Trip

Sometimes a 1.5 mile canoe trip is all you need.

We came upon the tower on the right and naturally took it as a challenge.  Ours was taller, and had river treasures tucked inside:

I call that a win.

I also found some cool tumbled river glass and a perfectly triangular rock.  They are sitting out on my deck if you want to see them.

Strolling

Where did you hang out tonight?  You did go outside, didn’t you?

Oh, right. Public art.

We went to Sawyer Point to stroll around, by the way.
