So, my great friend was getting married to another great friend of mine and I was now fully in charge of creating the ribbon bouquet for her to carry in place of her real bouquet during the dress rehearsal (now you’re up to speed). This entailed collecting all the ribbons and other gift wrapping prettiness from her bridal showers and then fashioning it into a big poofy paper-plate mounted bouquet. Piece of cake, no?
Turns out I’m not as crafty as I thought and I had to call in reinforcements.
Lots and lots of tulle, actually, which turned out to be a lovely contributing element to the bouquet at the end. But it was touch and go at the start.
My reinforcement helped me tame and untangle all of the bows and ribbons into ever growing gorgeousness, beating speed records as she went.
Then the cats wanted to help.
And then the wine was gone and the bouquet was finished! Ta-dah!
